I am an acupuncturist with a PhD in nursing, and a registered nurse with specialist training in psychiatry. At Lund University, Sweden, I have been a lecturer and researcher. I have, among other things, conducted studies on acupuncture in infantile colic and ear acupuncture in psychiatric care.

Outside the university, I train ear acupuncturists in collaboration with Stina Norbye. I teach a four day course in ear acupuncture including womens health. We also offer trainings in NADA (a standardized auricular acupuncture used for addiction and mental illness). More information about the courses is available at www.oronakupunktur.se

Earlier I have authored the books “Ear Acupuncture – a practical guide” and “NADA – Ear Acupuncture for Addiction and Mental Illness”. In 2026 a new book was published: ”Neuromodulation via ear acupuncture and and ear acupressure. A theoretical and practical guide for evidence-based practice”.

Neuromodulation-boken

“This book is not only theoretical but eminently practical… Each indication is meticulously supported by a comprehensive review of the available literature, classified according to the degree of scientific evidence. This work represents a significant milestone, and paves the way for future advancements.” Emmanuel Sagui, MD, Professor of Neurology, Université Paris-Saclay, France.

”This book explores the wide-ranging and rapidly evolving field of auricular neuromodulation in therapeutic treatments. The roadmap is a veritable atlas of indications for which auricular acupuncture and acupressure have achieved a high degree of evidence. This compilation represents the next generation of practical guidance in using auricular neuromodulation to promote health and well-being.” Celia Hildebrand, DAOM, Assistant Research Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine, USA.
